Lion

The Lion is a large carnivorous predator and one of Africa’s Big Five. Known for its majestic mane and social structure, lions live in prides consisting of related females, their offspring, and a few males. They are apex predators, hunting large herbivores such as zebras and buffaloes. Lions inhabit savannas, grasslands, and open woodlands.
